Home Stamp SetsBELLA FLORA Wedding Cards with Lorena

Hello Roadies! I told y’all in my last post that I was feeling the love this New Year so I’m keeping the vibe going with some wedding cards! I made three wedding cards for today’s post using the Days-e Phrases, Bella Flora Dies, and Block Party Alpha Outline.

I started off using the gorgeous floral borders from the Days-e Phrases set and the Block Party Alpha Outline letters.  I arranged the borders on my stamp platform with the “& MRS” in between the borders. I prepped some vellum strips using anti-static powder then stamped using clear embossing ink. I sprinkled on some fine detail gold embossing powder and tapped off the excess. I turned on my heat gun and let it warm up a few seconds before taking it to my vellum. Be sure to move the gun around and not keep it in one spot too long, as the vellum can easily warp.

Since I’m making three wedding cards, I stamped the same format of “& MRS” twice then removed the S for the last card so that it would read Mr. & Mr. Once all three set stamped and heat set, I removed the “&” then moved over the letters to stamp the beginning and heat set.

This is what it looked like after all the stamping and embossing was done. Next I fussy cut around the florals leaving a bit of a border.

Once all three vellum pieces were fussy cut out, I die cut some of the florals from the Bella Flora dies set. I ended up only using the flowers from the die towards the bottom of the photo.

I wanted some gold details on the die cuts so I decided to add some embossing. I pushed the edges of the floral die cuts onto my embossing ink pad and then dipped and sprinkled on the same gold embossing powder. I used a small dry brush to brush off embossing powder on areas I didn’t want it on before I heat set.

Once all of the flowers were done I started putting together my cards. I used two white A4 card bases and one blue A4 card base. I used liquid adhesive to adhere the die cuts onto the vellum and card base.

I added a sprinkle of gold sequins to finish off these cards. I love the way these cards turned out. I can’t wait for someone to get married so I can send one out! (lol) Thanks for stopping by Roadies! -Lorena
