Wishing You Hella Cheer… This Fall

September 22, 2020

Hello and welcome to another crafty day! Carol here to share a really clean, and simple, and really fun Holla-Days card featuring Happy Holla Days Stamp set. I love this set so much, I’m almost tempted to do a Budget series on it over at my blog, and do a giveaway… Something to think about! In the meantime, use code Carol10 to save 10% off your entire purchase!

To start, I really wanted to take advantage of the santa shape, so I decided to go with clean and simple focal circle. I wanted to recreate a card I made in the past that was inspired by another crafter.

I stamped the santa using copic friendly black ink, then used masking paper to protect him, and cut a circle in a full sheet of masking paper so I could ink blend a focal point.

Once done ink blending, I peeled everything up, and got to coloring. I opted for traditional colors on the Santa. You don’t have to, though. There are literally NO rules when it comes to coloring. Make it special and make it yours!

Then, I wanted to add extra cheer, because I’m no half assed jingler. I decided to heat emboss some snowflakes in silver.

Upside: Super cute.
Downside: Didn’t wait for the ink to dry.

That’s okay! Because, like I said, I made it special and I made it my own. LOL now he has some super shiny specs.

Hella cheerful.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the same set using coordinating ink, colored some snow flakes using a white gel pen, ran the whole panel through my die cut machine to get it a fancy stitched border. Popped that sucker up on some foam tape, added some patterned and solid papers for style, and voila! There you have it. A Hella Cheerful card featuring Happy Holla Days.

One way you could step this up is to either turn the circle into a bauble, or a snow globe!

Thanks for joining me on this journey, and stay tuned for more!
