Hey Roadies! Angela here! Today, I would like to show you a quick gift wrapping idea for Christmas, particularly useful when you are in my situation and there’s twenty-five gifts to prepare!
To make them, I started cutting some 4 x 8 in strips of white cardstock. Of course the measures depend on what you place inside. In my case, I will put a block of handmade soap. Then, I cut the top corners of the strips like a tag.
I decorated the tags using Between The Lines stamps in several colors. I used chalk inks in black, red, pink and green, I would say, mainly Christmas colors.
To make the package, I folded the tag in two and closed with some twine. I embellished adding a strip stamped with the writing ‘Hap-Hap Happy Christmas’ . This is from cheeky stamp Are You Serious, Clark? and I stamped it diagonally to give it a fun look.
Last, to write the name of the recipient of the gift, I used the teeny circles from Full Circle Vol. 2. I stamped and heat-embossed and finally, cut with a circle punch.
Here is a close-up of the blocks of handmade soap, wrapped on baking paper, I think this is the name in English too, and secured with a piece of Ink Road Lesbian Flag Washi Tape!
Thank for stopping by. I hope you liked the project and feel inspired to create your own gift packaging with Ink Road Stamps.
