You are a badass unicorn with Erica

August 12, 2018

Hi guys!

Erica back on the Ink Road Blog today with my second post as part of the DT here! Today’s card is not doggie-related either..! Who else is shocked?? lol.

For this card I have used the Bun Intended stamp set, and at the time of writing, it’s out of stock again. This stamp set is super popular so make sure you sign up for email notifications when it’s back in stock so you can snap it up before it’s gone again!

I have always loved the look of unicorn hair but have not had the guts to do it to my own hair. The upkeep must be a right ole pain in the… well, you know what. The bun however, is very me. This is how I keep my hair most days. Now, when it comes to paper and colours, I’m much more adventurous so I decided to to unicorn hair on the girl.

I used a load of different Copics for the hair and I’ve not bothered to shade or add details, I just straight up coloured the different sections a new colour.

The sentiment ‘you are a badass’ from the Bun Intended set, is stamped in black ink below her, and I also stamped up the word ‘unicorn’ with the Block Party Alpha Outline set. These are also coloured in with Copics.

To finish off the card I have used the little group of dots stamp, this is again from the Bun Intended set, and stamped it all around the girl using Distress Oxide inks to match her hair. Kind of like unicorn sprinkles! The colours I used are Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry. They fit so good with the hair, don’t you think?

For someone who isn’t usually a CAS card kind of gal, I’ve gone and done two of them in a row here. Not sure what’s going on but if you want to see more of my work and crafting shenanigans, pop over to my Instagram. That’s where I am the most active for sure, but I also have my own blog and Facebook page.

Well, that’s it from me for today but I will be back in a week with another DT post. See you then or somewhere else out in the crafting world in the meantime!

Lots of love from Erica
