Hello crafty friends. Today I’m sharing a layout using several Ink Road Stamps products. This layout has been in progress for over a month now and it finally came together.
I started this layout using the Ink Road Stamps – Mega Geo Cut File. This set has 17 cut files and they are amazing! Using the negative of the cut file, I laid in the positive pieces of the cut file on a piece of Bella Blvd: All People, All Nations – Hope pattern paper.
Next, I pulled out some coordinating Bella Blvd: All People, All Nation – My Foundation, and Island Escape – Moonlit Kisses to back the photo of my puppy, Spock (not shown).
Using the Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks (Set 1: Ruby, Tangerine, Lemon, Lime and Turquoise; Set 2: Blush, Fuchsia, Sedona, Cheddar, Olive, Evergreen, Peacock, Marine) I painted on the colors in a messy manner to the trees and wreath.
Next, I pulled out several pieces of Yupo paper and Ranger Alcohol Inks to create several backgrounds.
I die cut these backgrounds using the Bella Flora Dies. One tip is to use a metal shim when cutting with thin dies and Yupo paper. Yupo paper is plastic and takes a little more effort to cut. I found that a shim and several passes through the die cut machine really helps cut through this paper.
After cutting the floral pieces, I started layering all the pieces onto the layout. Popping some of the trees up as well as my sentiment wreath.
Once the plan was set this layout came together quickly. I love how universal the Ink Road Stamps stamps and dies are. Thank you for joining me today! #createfreely
