Hello! Samantha here sharing this crazy fun “You Drive Me Bananas” cards. This month I’ve created a few Clean and Simple to showcase Ink Road Stamps. Today I’m using the stamp: This Stamp is Bananas.
Did you know? Ink Road Stamps have cut files available? It’s a big time saver for those who own a cutting machine.
Step 1: Use the cut file to cut out five of the banana shapes. Alternatively stamp the banana images first then individually fussy cut around them.
Step 2: Stamp the bananas using a ‘rock n roll’ ink stamping technique.
Tip: I used three shades of yellow ink, but any combination of ink colours would work provided you use the lightest colours first. I have a old video tutorial using a different Ink Road Stamp set and the ‘Rock n Roll’ technique that you can view: here.
Step 3: Adhere the bananas to the card front using foam tape.
Step 4: Use embossing ink to stamp the sentiment on black card stock. Apply a generous amount of white embossing power, heat set with a heat tool.
Step 5: Adhere the sentiment to the card front as shown. Embellish with hearts and a twine bow.
Step 6: Adhere card front to a A6 card base.
A perfect CAS card for that special someone who drives you…bananas!
