Hello!!! It’s Samantha back again, this time sharing a beautiful card I created using Ink Road Stamps Bella Flora. There are some moments when I’m in my craft room and I don’t feel like colouring but desperately want to create something with the stamp set. This card is one of those moments. I really wanted to create my own Bella Flora card but without having to come up with a Copic colour scheme…wanna know how I did it?
After choose three ink pads each (in a green, red, and purple colour scheme) I then used both of the smaller circle stamps from Ink Road Stamps Full Circle to ‘colour’ the flowers in. I wasn’t too fussy if I went out the lines and I purposefully stamped overlapping colours and as much as possible kept the circle stamping very random. It was the quickest colouring I’ve ever done! So quick I stamped extra flowers to create a few different cards.
Each full circle stamped flower was cut out using my silhouette – but these are a pretty easy flower to fussy cut out! If you didn’t want to do that, the lovely Lara has very recently added Bella Flora dies to the Ink Road Stamp shop which will do all the hard work for you.
I added a gold machine stitched border and finished each card off with some matte gold sequins. I made these cards 5 inches x 7 inches – why not! They’re a beautiful decent sized flower stamp!
Hope you like today’s card – do you ever feel like not colouring? Have you ever tried using smaller stamps to colour in larger stamped images? It’s fun and easy and super quick!
