You’ve Got Happy Mail with Señor Gleason

May 22, 2020

Hello All! I am here today with a super sweet card (and super pink might I add) using the Lucy- Happy Mail stamp set! Are you ready? Here we go!

So to begin this card I started stamping with the envelopes in a circular pattern. I used alternating shades of pink until the square was filled with the mini envelopes. Then I used the color pencil and Gamsol technique to color it in. There are many tutorials on YouTube regarding this technique so I will not bore you with the details. I have also outlined this technique on the I want To be Where the People Arn’t blog post.

Once you have those completed time to stamp and color in Lucy. I used alcohol markers to color her in. then stamped out a few extra bows to use in the end as embellishments!

Don’t forget to break out that white gel pen to highlight her! Now you can cut a hole in the center to add a little dimension. Using foam tape you wanna pop up the envelope card so that Lucy appears to float.

You can then pic out your most beautiful patterned paper and begin attaching it to your card base. To finish the card you want to always add a sentiment, this time I chose two! Grab those extra bow that you set aside and throw those on too! And now you can sit back and admire your work!

Thank you so much for joining on this journey! Since you have made it this far you of course deserve a prize! Enter Oliver10 at check out and save some coin! If you have any questions about the making of this card or any thing else… hit me up on any of my socials! Thanks again!
